Ventory’s Inn is an arcade fast-paced, limited inventory management game set in an adventurer’s tavern! In Ventory’s Inn, the player takes on the role of a tavern-keeper, who sees a whole host of adventurers with very specific requests. It’s up to you to draw on your stock to meet their needs! But be careful not to make a mistake or wait too long… A well-served adventurer is a happy adventurer… And alive! ‎‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎

CONTEXT:

Ventory’s Inn  is a prototype produced in 72 hours as part of Ludum Dare 54 whose theme was “Limited Space”. It was made with 3 other people met digitally for the occasion.

MY WORK:

I set up project management tools to ensure that the project ran as smoothly as possible within the allotted time, using a Discord server to streamline internal communication, a Google Drive for file exchange, and Trello to assign different tasks to different team members while prioritizing needs and requests throughout the project. I worked on the idea and basis of the concept, the different objects to interact with and their size, the size of the inventory of the different heroes and their personality, their dictionary of queries and combo styles, the scoring and hype mechanics, the UX and the integration of the elements.
